Red Dunes Safari Tour with Camping

We invite you to spend a unique Arabian picnic in the heart of the tranquil Riyadh desert, after a day full of excitement and adventure among the famous red sand dunes.

Your experience begins with an exciting dune bashing, followed by fun activities such as riding dune buggies (quad bikes) and sandboarding, in a boundless open environment.

As you enjoy the breathtaking sandy landscape, a relaxing picnic awaits you on a traditional Arabian rug, around a crackling fire that adds a special warmth to the experience. You can bring out playing cards or some group games, and share stories as the sun sets, while you might even spot a herd of camels, or perhaps a desert fox or gazelle appearing on the horizon.

The seating area is carefully furnished, with traditional Sadu patterns that express Arab heritage, with an ideal atmosphere for enjoying a barbecue or food prepared over wood in a traditional pressure-cooked way - an addition we highly recommend for those who want to experience the authentic taste.

Depending on the starting point, you may pass famous landmarks such as the Kingdom Tower and Al Faisaliah Tower along the way, while the scenery transitions from the modern city to the quiet suburbs and then to the open desert.

You will see camel farms scattered on both sides, and you may come across a herd crossing the road, in a natural scene that reflects the spirit of Bedouin life.

All of this is amidst the gradations of sand from light yellow to deep red, and desert plants such as shrubs and acacia trees that add a special beauty to the place.

• Buggy ride: For 20 minutes. Fees for up to 3 people (759 riyals)

• Horse riding: For 20 minutes, the fee per person is (83 riyals).

• Camel riding: For 15 minutes, the fee per person is (72 riyals).
