"The Legacy of Kings and Princes" | A Journey Through the History of Mecca's Palaces

A cultural and historical tourist trip that takes you on a journey through time to explore the unique Islamic and Hijazi architecture of Makkah’s historic palaces, and to learn about the memory of ancient neighborhoods such as Al-Ma’abda and Al-Zahir.

The tour begins to explore the ancient landmarks that were built as a result of the flourishing trade in Mecca, such as the trade in ghee and honey that distinguished the merchants of Mecca, where you can see the palaces of the merchants that were later transformed into royal monuments that reflect the antiquity and importance of the place.

During the tour, visitors will learn about the splendor of Hijazi architecture and its building arts with its authentic wooden windows. The tour tells the story of the headquarters and palace of the first Minister of Finance in the history of the Kingdom, and his prominent role in establishing and developing the financial and administrative work of the state from the grounds of these historical monuments.

The tour concludes with viewing these architectural icons and surrounding monuments, and taking commemorative photos at a site that tells the story of the integration of community history with established royal architecture.
