During your visit to Jeddah for the 27th Gulf Cup, don't miss exploring Jeddah's rich history and visiting its distinctive historical sites with the group

Historic Jeddah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has served for centuries as the primary port for Mecca, cementing its status as a thriving center of trade and a multicultural gateway for pilgrims arriving by sea. Strategically located to the north of the sea, the city is renowned for its bustling souks (markets) overflowing with goods. Its status as a major seaport and official port for Mecca was established as early as 646 CE, making it the most important point of entry for pilgrims arriving by sea—a pivotal role that enhanced its regional importance.

The tour starts from a new gate, beginning with a walk among the city’s most prominent heritage landmarks, including historic houses such as Beit Nassif, Beit Ba’ashan, Beit Sharbatli, Beit Matbouli, Beit Salloum, and Beit Nour Wali, along with many other houses of historical value.

Visit traditional markets such as Al-Alawi Market to learn about traditional products, and explore historic mosques with unique architectural styles, such as Al-Shafi’i Mosque in the heart of historic Jeddah.

The tour includes stops at popular cafes to enjoy local cuisine and experience the heritage atmosphere. You can also participate in workshops presented by specialists (not included in the tour price) .

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
