Hail: An experience in learning Sadu weaving

Discover one of the heritage crafts through the experience of learning Sadu weaving in Hail , where you participate practically in weaving a piece using wool threads and specialized tools .

The experience begins with getting acquainted with the tools and threads used, then a specialized craftswoman supervises the participants and helps them step by step while executing the piece.

During the experience, you will have the opportunity to participate yourself in the manual work and learn about the Sadu weaving method in an interactive way, and at the end of the activity you will take the piece you made with you as a gift and souvenir of the experience .

The experiment takes place in Al-Adham or Nahla and Nakhla within the city of Hail . If a group is booked , prior coordination is made to choose the appropriate location to carry out the experiment.

The experience takes from one to two hours depending on the number of participants , and accepts groups of a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 20 people .

The event includes:

• Wool yarn.

• The tools used in the experiment.

• Supervision by a specialized craftsman.

• Practical participation in weaving a Sadu piece.

• Keep the piece you made and take it as a gift after the experiment is over.

• Pre-arrangement of the experiment implementation site for the groups.
