Zubaydah's eye flank

The tour begins at Ain Zubaydah , to explore the historic canal that has made its way from Mount Kara to irrigate Mecca and the holy sites since 194 AH/809 AD.
Visitors learn about the engineering challenges faced by Lady Zubayda, and how she carved the canal through rocks and valleys to become a source of life for more than 1200 years.
The tour tells the story of the generosity of Zubayda bint Jafar, who dedicated her wealth and efforts to serving the pilgrims, so that the canal remains a testament to a sophisticated architectural civilization.
The tour concludes with a view of the surrounding canals and monuments, and taking pictures of the site, which represents an enduring legacy that tells a story of willpower and the greatness of giving.
