Experiments below Asfan

Embark on a unique experience following in the footsteps of history – below Asfan in the heart of Mecca.

We continue the journey to a place near Mecca, which the Prophet ﷺ passed through on the way of the migration and stayed overnight. Asfal Asfan became the second stop in the experience of following in his footsteps, where the visitor stays overnight and practices various interactive activities between interactive exhibits and kinetic experiments.

This site is designed to be a vivid simulation of the environment that the Prophet ﷺ went through, focusing particularly on extended life, trade and craftsmanship.

The area includes:

Shops and stores, boutiques, restaurants and cafes, shops.

Service facilities, restrooms, prayer rooms, rest areas.

Interactive experiments and activities.

Entrance fee to the area is 50 riyals.

The available experiences at the bottom of Asfan:

• The Al-Qaswa experience, "The Camel Has Its Wonders": The experience begins with the story of Al-Qaswa, the camel of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to showcase the life of camels through realistic simulations and interactive experiences that allow visitors to get to know the world of camels in their travels and sojourns.

The experiment lasts 30 minutes.

• Livestock Experience: Horse or Camel Riding: A vibrant rural atmosphere that allows visitors to have an interactive experience with horses, camels, and various animals, through stable tours, riding activities, and feeding, with luxurious rural rest areas available.

Upon arrival, the type of activity is selected (horses or camels).
