Al-Baha city is the capital of Al-Baha region and the seat of the Emirate. It is one of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent tourist and agricultural cities. The city combines natural beauty with administrative and commercial facilities, hosting numerous government offices and major commercial centers. It also features famous traditional markets, especially Thursday Market. Al-Baha is surrounded by beautiful forests such as Raghadan Forest, Shahba Forest, Dar Al-Jabal, and Al-Zarqa, in addition to Wadi Feq, visited by Sharif Hussein. The natural beauty scattered across these areas makes it an excellent tourist destination. Al-Baha continues to develop and serves as a vital center in the region, bordered to the north by Al-Qara, to the west by Al-Mandaq and Al-Mukhwah, to the south by Baljurashi, and to the east by Al-Aqiq. The city has a population of approximately 90,515, reflecting demographic and cultural diversity that enhances its importance in the heart of Saudi Arabia.
